The Texas Hedge Fund Association is a U.S.- based association of Hedge Fund industry participants and other interested parties. The THFA is a grass roots, regional trade association that represents the hedge fund industry throughout the state of Texas and surrounding states. The THFA membership is composed primarily of hedge fund managers, high net worth investors, institutional investors - including pension funds, foundations, trusts, banks - attorneys, accountants, academics, third party marketers and other vendors. The THFAs board of directors is elected by the members, who in turn appoint committees chairs and administrative members in order to carry out most of the functions and work of the Association.
