Horizon Publishing Company, formerly known as Dow Theory Forecasts, Inc., has been located in Hammond, Indiana since 1946. We publish investment newsletters for individual investors nationwide. Dow Theory Forecasts, our flagship publication, has been published every week for 60 years and is highly regarded among the investment community. Founded by LeRoy Evans in 1946, the company is owned by LeRoys son, Robert Evans. LeRoy Evans, an astute investor, created Dow Theory Forecasts to advise and educate individual investors on investing and the stock market.In 1977 Horizon created its own in-house printing operation, which became so successful that in the mid-1990s this operation spun off into Lithographic Communications, LLC, a full service printing and mailing company located in Munster. In 1992 Horizon launched DRIP Investor, a monthly newsletter created and edited by Mr. Carlson, which focuses on dividend reinvestment plans, buying stocks directly without a broker and without paying commission. In 1997 the company once again expanded its services to include money management through a sister company, Horizon Investment Services. And, in 2003, Horizon Investment Services launched an independent advisory service for Corporate 401(k) Retirement and Profit Sharing plans.
