Vossman is currently the chief investment officer at the University of Illinois Foundation, where she manages over $1 billion of endowment and other investment assets. She is also responsible for managing equity holdings arising from the universitys technology transfer program. Before joining the University of Illlinois, Vossman founded and ran SAGECAP, an investment firm focused on opportunities expected to generate superior long-term financial returns by successfully addressing environmental challenges. Her prior experience includes selecting and managing private equity fund investments for large institutional investors at Pacific Corporate Group and analyzing over 200 initial public offerings at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. She began her professional career as a securities lawyer with Morgan, Lewis & Bockius. Vossman is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and holds a J.D., cum laude, from Georgetown University. She completed her undergraduate work at Earlham College and Roosevelt University. She is a member of the CFA Institute and the State Bar of California. She has written articles on investing, corporate responsibility, and urban redevelopment for Business Ethics, Planning, and E The Environmental Magazine.
