MYM Capital is a fund management company that operates two open-ended unit trusts, both listed on the Irish Stock Exchange. It was set up as a joint venture between Yu Ming Investment Management Limited, Matignon Investissement et Gestion and Asian Asset Management Limited, three fund management companies that manage a combined US$ 600 million out of their bases in Hong Kong and Paris. It operates in Hong Kong out of the office of Yu Ming Investment Management Limited and in Paris out of the office of Matignon Investissement et Gestion. The two unit trusts are active in two uncorrelated and fast-growing areas: China equities and global high yield fixed income. MYM China Trust is a long-only equity fund specialized in Chinese mid-caps listed on the Hong Kong stock exchange. The fund targets the worlds fastest growing country and takes advantage of the huge potential offered by a large pool of companies operating from China. MYM High Yield Bond Trust is a leveraged long-biased fund that buys into debt instruments of large companies going through restructuring. More specifically, the fund focuses on fallen angels, global companies that have been downgraded by rating agencies from investment grade to non-investment grade.
