Brown by purchasing the business in a employee-led buy-out, in the belief that our clients interests would best be served by independent ownership. Brown Advisorys mission was then and is now to serve a small number of institutions, corporations, and high net worth investors by providing the insight and sophistication that their complex financial circumstances demand. By virtue of our employees substantial equity interest in the firm, each of us has a vested interest in forging lasting client relationships based on integrity, loyalty and trust. Over the years, we have stressed the importance of balance, diversification, and good planning. Wealth enhancement begins with wealth preservation.
