AIMs approach to investing depends on four major factors- asset allocation, style weighting, sector weighting, and individual stock selection. Of these four factors, overall asset allocation is the single most important decision. As such, we actively manage our asset allocation among stocks, bonds, and cash based on risk return expectations for each class. We use our own proprietary model in conjunction with decades of experience to determine an optimal allocation.
